CNC 360 Consulting has been engaged by USAID EDGE project implemented by ACDI/VOCA Zambia to provide market linkages to SMEs who are in Poultry and Acquaculture value chains in Lusaka, Central and Eastern provinces.
Recently, CNC360 Assignment team joined EDGE team at the B2B Open day at Kayalami Farms Limited in Kabangwe area, Chibombo District. The purpose of the meeting was to create market access opportunities for Poultry farmers.
Kayalami Farms owns a chicken abbatoir and have the capacity to slaughter and process 1000birds per hour at their facility. As offtakers, Kayalami Farms requires not less than 5000 birds per day to buy from farmers ,hence this Open day activity to encourage the farmers who attended the event to sign up supply deals with Kayalami Farms Limited.
The event was very successful and kudos to the team that put together this event.
